Mrs. Myra Clarkson Morris, 71, of Anthony Road, Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest Tuesday, November 7, 2000, at Beverly Manor Convalescent Center. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church, Dearing, Georgia, with the Rev. Todd Upchurch officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson, Georgia. Pallbearers will be Thomas Grulke, Carl Green, David Lord, Jerry Blevins, Joshua Bosdell and Gene Bradford. Mrs. Morris, a native of Muscatine, Iowa, was a homemaker. She was Baptist. Survivors include a son, John Wesley Morris Jr., Harlem; two daughters, Candice Grulke, North Augusta, and Ruby Morris, Harlem; three stepdaughters, Jerry Edgar, Augusta, Amanda Story, Martinez, and Arrie Lanier, Hephzibah; a sister, Roberta McHan, Hurst, Texas; and 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
