The following additional information is found in the death records of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL [1891 # 7] Church death record gives birthdate as July 29, 1821 near Sonnenberg, Wiesbaden, Nassau; emigrated to the US with his sister in 1837 which was after the death of his mother in 1826 and his father in 1828; 1st married Katharina Hoffmann in 1846 & 2nd to the widow Daab in 1870; buried 13 May 1891
