Delta--Beryl Lisk Adams, 85, of Delta died Aug. 26, 1990, at Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney.
She was born Aug. 19, 1905, near Oskaloosa to William and Ella Smith Thatcher. She married Harry Lisk on Oct 24, 1923, in Oskaloosa; he died Dec. 2, 1962. She married Lloyd Adams on Sept. 16, 1967, in What Cheer; he died July 4, 1985.
A lifelong resident of Delta, she attended school in Oskaloosa, was a charter member of the Union Chapter Sewing Club, a member of the Pollyanne Club and Delta Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter Henrietta Walsh of Hayesville; a son Leonard Lisk of North Liberty; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Byron Thatcher; and a sister, Nevah Sears.
The service will be 11am Tuesday at United Methodist Church in Delta, the Rev. Charles Bywaters offficiating. Burial will be in Tioga Cemetery near Rose Hill.
Visitiation is open after 2pm today at Holm Funeral Home in Sigourney. A memorial fund has been established.
