Emma Gene Brasfield, 70, died Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, at Hillcrest Hospital in Calhoun City. She was a retired homemaker.
Services were Monday, Sept. 6, at New Liberty Baptist Church in Vardaman. Burial was in New Liberty Cemetery. Parker Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include five daughters, Betty Jean Williams of Pocohontas, Ark., Mary Jane Easley of Rockford, Ill., Helen Louise Vance of Houlka, Dorothy K Bias of Vardaman, and Regina Heldebrand of Birminghan; one son, Roger Brasfield of Birmingham; one sister Lessie Redden of Fort Mead, Fla.; one brother, Clifton Pinktson of Memphis; 35 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death bu her husband, Harold Norman "Buck" Brasfield, on Aug. 20, 1999; two daughters, Annie Williams and Marlyn Harris; her parents, Freddy Burrage nd Margaret Smith Burrage.
