Funeral services for Mrs. Mary L. Anderson Akers, 45, of Accoeek, MD, formerly of Allisonia, who died Tuesday in the Cafritz Memorial Hospital of Washington, DC, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Allisonia Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. C.E. McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in the Allisonn Family Cemetery. Friends may call at Strickler's Funeral Home in Pulaski anytime this afternoon. Mrs. Akers is survived by her daughter, Miss Deborah A. Akers, and her son, Kevin S. Akers; both of Accokeek; one brother, Thomas Anderson of Balboa, Canal Zone; and two foster brothers, Charlies I Harper of Jessup, GA and Walter Harpter of Savannah, GA. She is the widow of the late George E. Akers.
