She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and served Him faithfully the balance of her days.
Mary moved to Sikeston, MO in 1955, where she became a member of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church. She served there many years in the choir and on the Mother Board. Mary was a retired cook.
In her later years, Mary joined Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. She left this life and entered her new life on February 26, 2005 at the Clearview Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace House, her daughter, Bessie M. Neal, and her sister, Laura Mincey Sloan Davis.
