Malad - Mrs. Nancy Parker Richards, 79, Malad, died Tuesday in an Orem, Utah, rest home after a long illness.
Mrs. Richards was born Jan. 21, 1885, in Wellsville, Utah, a daughter of Willard H. and Isabell Hendry Parker. She was married to Isaac Emer Richards Jan. 8, 1913, in the Logan Temple. Mr. Richards died Aug. 18, 1941.
She was educated in Wellsville schools and was an active member of the LDS Church. She lived in Buist, Oneida County, Idaho, and later moved to Malad.
Surviving are one son and two daughters, Parker E. Richards, Pocatello; Mrs. Fred (Letha) Reeve, North Highlands, Calif.; Mrs. Glenn (Dorothy) Thomas, Provo; 13 grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters, Leonard J. Parker, Vallejo, Calif.; Clifford Parker, Earl Parker, Mrs. Sara Kerr, all of Wellsville; Mrs. Isabell Baugh, Logan; Mrs. Elizabeth Bradshaw, Drummond, Mont.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Malad Second Ward Chapel with Bishop Max King officiating. Friends may call at Benson Funeral Home Friday evening and Saturday prior to services. Burial in Malad City Cemetery.
