He was a Master Mason of Lodge# 165, was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite, Valley of Lake Charles, and the Habibi Temple Shriners where he was a Shriner clown, "Doc". He enjoyed gardening, riding and rebuilding motorcycles, and especially loved animals. Matthew will be most remembered for his "smile and his wonderful, joyful spirit". "Everyone loved him!"
He leaves to honor his memory, his parents, Carl and Elizabeth Webb of Lake Charles; sister and brother-in-law, Sami Webb and Douglas O'Morain of Austin, TX; paternal grandmother, Mary Odessa Webb of Beckley, WV and a niece and nephew Maggie and Joseph O'Morain of Austin, TX. He also leaves Robin Sonnier, Shaye and Scott Savoy, all of Westlake and his dog Mason and parrot, Zeus.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Chris Fuselier will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Jennings, where he will rest with his maternal grandparents, H.C. and Emlie Welch. Visitation Tuesday will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Masonic Service beginning at 7:00 PM. Visitation Wednesday will be from 8:00 AM until the time of service in
