Malad - John Wilson Bruce, 85, Malad, died Monday in the Oneida Hospital of natural causes.
Mr. Bruce was born Oct. 5, 1877, in Almy, Wyo., a son of John and Janet Lilley Bruce. He was married to Dora Gleed Sept. 29, 1899, in Malad. She died in 1952.
He was an active member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are a son, James Melvin Bruce, Magna; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Mary) Burton, Grace, Idaho, and Mrs. Owen (Janet) Wall, Ogden.
Funeral services were to be held today with burial in Malad City Cemetery, directed by Benson Funeral Home.
