ERNIE CORWIN DIED SUNDAY MORNING IN LOCAL HOSPITAL

Ernest A. Corwin, age 51, a resident of Little River for the past 26 years, died here about 2 o'clock Sunday morning at the Hoffman Memorial hospital, following a short illness.

Mr. Corwin, who operated a blacksmith shop and garage here, was well known throughout the community and his death comes as a shock to his many friends. He was born in Russell on April 17, 1889.

Surviving are: his widow and nine children, Mrs. Louella Griffitt, of Geneseo, Glenn Corwin, of Battle Mountain, Nevada; Clifford, Florence, Harold, Alvin, Ray, Rosalee and Betty, all at home.

Masonic funeral services were held at the Little River Congregational church Tuesday afternoon and burial was made in Bean cemetery.
