Leland's first wife, Edna Leona Rawlins, died of cancer April 1957. On October 23, 1959 he married Mrs Florence Robinson Haley in Shreveport, La. She died December 20, 1965 in Dallas of cancer and is buried in the Robinson family plot in Winnsboro, La. April 22, 1968 he married his third wife, a widow, Mrs Martha Smith of Washington, D., C. They resided in Dallas. Following his death Martha returned to Washington and served as Supervisor of the United Methodist Church Home for the aged there.
