He is located in the 1870 Federal census but is not in the 1880 Federal Census. The local lore has it that 3 brother drowned and we're washed ashore. During the re-internment of the cemetery, a relative were present that indicated that there was a man, woman and child buried in the one grave. There is also a family story that the great granddaughter used to ride the train to Tybee Island with her grandmother to place flowers on her mother's grave, Constance Marion Rotureau. I also have her obituary indicating that she is buried with her husband John Charles Rotureau . The identity of the body of the child is unknown. It could be a male child of there's by the name of Constant identified in the 1870 census. He is absent in the 1880 census .
