Mrs. Nellie Banks.
Nellie, daughter of Wm. and La Vina Eddy, was born March 11, 1916, departed this life August 6, 1938. at St Joseph's hospital, aged 22 years, 6 months, 26 days.
She was married to Ray Banks December 8, 1934. To this union were born three sons, James, Johnnie, and an infant son, who with the young husband survive. She leaves to mourn their loss, husband and sons, one sister, Mrs. Mabel Reeves of Ottumwa, four brothers, Milton of Laurel, Iowa, Howard of Newton, Elmer and Donald of Centerville, two uncles, G. E. Eddy and Taylor McCoy, of Centerville, two aunts, Mrs. Ida .Frye, and. Mrs. Elda Stevens of Exline, nine nieces and six nephews and a host of other. relatives and friends who deeply mourn, her passing. She was preceded in death by her father and mother 19 years ago.
She was a devoted wife and mother, sister, neighbor and friend, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
