Mr. Johnnie Franklin Boswell, 89, husband of the late Mrs. Pauline Stallings Boswell, entered into rest Friday, September 3, 1999, at Windemere Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 1999 in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Dr. J. Andrew Menger officiating. Mr. Boswell, a native of Augusta; had retired from Greene's Drive-in restaurant after 40 years. He was a member of the Master City Senior bowling league for more than 55 years. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. Mr. Boswell was preceded in death by his daughter Joy Blount, and grandson, John Jones. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ellen Jones, Hephzibah, and Glenda Boswell Menger, Augusta; and six grandchildren, Venus Turner, James Scarberry, Troy Jones, Barbara Avery, Terri Jones and Adam Osteen and eight great-grandchildren.
