BONNIE L. COPELAND, was wrapped in God's loving arms and guided home Friday, May 29, 2009, at 5:54 a.m. Born Dec. 4, 1946, in Huntington, she was the daughter of David and Ruth McCullough. She spent most of her life in Huntington. She married LeRoy Copeland on Sept. 27, 1969; he preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 2004. She loved spending time with her three children and four grandchildren. She moved to Fort Wayne in 2005 and enjoyed her co-workers at BAE. She also liked to draw, paint, sew and collect Boyd bears. She especially enjoyed time shared with her best friend and sister, Becky. Surviving are her mother; three children, Rachel (Clarence) Stuart and their children, Quintin and Jaylen of Fort Wayne, Deedra Copeland of Fort Wayne and David (Adriane) Copeland and their children, Abby and Carter of Columbia City; three sisters, Barbara (Carl) Grunert of Virginia, Becky (Ted) Hockemeyer of Albion and Beth McCullough of Illinois; along with several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her father. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Monday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Her final resting place will be in St. Paul's County Line Cemetery, Andrews.
