Services for Brian McElroy, 44, of Austin formerly Lubbock will be at 10 a.m., Friday, April 18, 2003 at Redbud Baptist Church with Brother Syl Moore officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
Mr. McElroy passed away Friday, April 11, 2003 in Austin. He was born September 28, 1958 in Lubbock. Mr. McElroy graduated from Coronado High School in 1977. He then went to the University of Texas and graduated in 1984. After that he went to the University of Houston and graduated in 1988 with a law degree.
He then returned to Austin and worked for Davis &Wilkerson Law Offices for many years. Mr. McElroy is a former member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Joe and Clara McElroy of Lubbock; one sister, Sandra Blick of North Richland Hills; two nieces, Angela and Rachel; and two nephews , Nathan and Jonathan.
