OBITUARIES
Eliza A. Evans
Malad - Mrs. Eliza Adams Evans, 83, Malad, died Saturday morning in the Oneida Hospital of a heart attack.
Mrs. Evans was born Dec. 15, 1879, in Malad, a daughter of Benjamin Nephi and Mary Ann Clark Adams. She was married to William Jones Evans on Nov. 25, 1897, in Malad. He died Oct. 11, 1958.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
surviving are three sons and three daughters, Carlos A. Evans, Dale A. Evans, Mrs. George (Mary) Lewis, Mrs. Ray (Ann) Nelson, all of Malad; Lynn A. Evans and Mrs. Herbert (LaVena) Bowles, both of Pocatello; 17 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren, one brother, Carrie Adams, San Francisco.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Third Ward Chapel with Bishop Lon W. Corbridge officiating. Friends may call at the family home, 449 N. Main, this evening and Tuesday prior to services. Burial in Malad City Cemetery, directed by Benson Funeral Home.
