Oscar K DeWitt, a former resident of Selma, died in Los Angeles Saturday at the
age of 74 years. He was the brother of Mrs Harry Say and Mrs Florence Boles of
Selma.
Mr DeWitt, a native of Missouri, had lived in California fifty-seven years. He
is survived by his widow, Mrs Rose DeWitt; three sons, W.A. DeWitt of Madera,
O.N. DeWitt of Fresno and Glen DeWitt of Los Angeles; one other sister, Mrs Ella
Atkins of Los Angeles; three brothers, Oldo DeWitt of Winton, Sharon DeWitt of
Coalinga and Tom DeWitt of Tulare; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
