Died at Son's Home

Mr Clay Puckett of Iuka, 83, years of age died Thursday afternoon June 20, 1951, at the home of his son, George Puckett, in the Valley Community. He was born on Feb. 14, 1868. His funeral was held on Friday at Old Union Baptist Church with Rev. W. C. Hamilton officiating in the presence of a large concourse of friends.

Deceased is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Clingan Puckett;
nine sons and three daughters. Mr. Puckett was the last living member of his family. Burial was in the Old Union Cemetery with Deaton Funeral of Belmont in Charge.
