The info on Laura is limited, but she was the youngest daughter born to William Haynes and Rebecca Shockley. She was born in abt. 1873 in Gasconade County, MO. and she married Louis Jefferson "Bird" Crider on 21 April 1892 on a bridge on the groom's family land.
Laura's father died when she was about seven years old, and her mother did not re-marry.
Laura must have died prior to 1899, but we have no record, and thus can only judge by her husband's actions. Louis married again in 1899. If there were children from this first marriage, we have yet to find the record. Further research is required. The marriage record came from Gasconade County Marriage License Book 1, Page 229.
Some notes I have obtained from a now deceased Charles Sheppard indicate that Laura and her husband had moved to Iowa, and they had one daughter. I cannot find records to confirm that information.

The Advertiser Courier, Hermann, MO dated 9-8-1897

Laura, wife of Bird Crider, died last Saturday and was buried on Sunday.

This means that Laura died on Sept 4, 1897 and that she was buried the following day, Sept 5, 1897.

I also found the mention of the earlier marriage license in 1892 in the same newspaper when both Louis J. Crider and Laura I Haynes of Woolam were to be married. He was 21 and she was 18 years of age.
