Nina, 70, of Mason, passed away suddenly on Friday evening, Mar. 4, 1966. On June 2, 1917 she married Burt Wasper (1892 -Sept. 9, 1958), son of William & Ella (Laycock) Wasper.
Surviving are 1 son, Howery O. of Leslie; 2 daughters, Alice O. Sprite of Lansing, Osa O. Leute of Lansing; 7 grandkids; 1 brother, Cecil, of Mason; 1 sister, Alice of Dansville, Nephews and nieces.
Funeral was Monday at Luecht Funeral home in Leslie. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Welcome Club of Leslie.
"Aunt" Nina, always knew what went on in the town of Mason. She knew everyone, and everyone knew her. In other words, she knew all the 'gossip'. I used to go to her house after school sometimes. (She lived across from the high school). She was always nice to me.
