OBITUARY (thanks to Bill Corl for finding it)
Marysville, Pa., August 15, 1898( Perry County Democrat)
Mrs. Amelia Gingrich, aged about 70 years, died last Wednesday. She had not been in good health for several years past, the greater part of the time being confined to the house, but not until about a week before her death had she been considered in danger. She has lived in this place upwards of 30 years, not knowing her, but to love her. Her disposition was unassuming, tender and obliging. She was an exemplary wife and affectionate mother, and a consistent member of the Trinity Reformed Church. Six children remained to mourn her departure; James, and Mrs. Jessie Howe, of Harrisburg; Charles, Maggie, Ella, and Mrs. Joseph Heisley, of this place. The bereaved family have a sincere sympathy of the entire community and their sad affliction.
