She is survived by two sons, Sherrill (Sally) Baker, Jr. and Gary Baker, both of Oxford Junction; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and 3 sisters-in-law, Neva Baker and Marianne (Arthur) Baker, both of Anamosa, and Betty Truesdell of Iowa City. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parent, a grandson, one sister and three brothers.
Verna L. Baker, 90, of Oxford Junction, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at the Mechanicsville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Mechanicsville, following a brief illness.
