Died – On November 30th, 1880, Daniel Fix, of Washington township, in the 73rd year of his age. The deceased was a native of Reading, Pennsylvania; emigrated to Kansas over 20 years ago and settled in the Mill Creek Valley, near where he died. Five children survive him, who reside in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kansas, and Colorado, all respectable and useful members of society. He was the father of Martin Fix, of Wabaunsee, and uncle to the Ex-County Commissioner John R. Fix. Having lived a life of strict integrity, he died in peace at a ripe old age.
