Elizabeth was the daughter of Michael Kennedy and Jane McAvoy.

Elizabeth and Benjamin got married in 1883. They had 5 children: Benjamin F. Jr., Clara C., Maria, Raymond and Leona Schaaf.

MRS. SCHAAF IS DEAD; FUNERAL RITES MONDAY

Mrs. Elizabeth Schaaf, wife of Benjamin F. Schaaf, died this morning at her home, 362 Brunswick Avenue. Daughter of the late Michael and Jane Kennedy, Mrs. Schaaf was in her 70th year. She was a member of Capital City Council, No. 20, Sons and Daughters of Liberty.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Harry Faske, of this city; Mrs. J. C. Garriott, of Bakersfield, Cal., and Miss Clara Schaaf, of Washington D. C.; two sons, Benjamin F. and Roy C. Schaaf, of Upper Black Eddy, Pa., and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at her late home on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. W. J. Sayre, of St. Paul M. E. Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, under direction of Poulson and Van Hise.
