BENJAMIN SCHAAF, CONDUCTOR, DIES

Benjamin F. Schaaf, Pennsylvania Railroad conductor for 43 years, died yesterday after a long illness at his home, 362 Brunswick Avenue. He was 74 years old.

Mr. Schaaf was a member of Local No. 38, Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, and the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief.

The funeral will be held from his late home on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with services in charge of the Rev. W. J. Sayre, of St. Paul M. E. Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, under direction of Poulson & Van Hise.

Mr. Schaaf is survived by three daughters, Mrs, Harry Faske, Mrs. J. C. Garriott, of Bakersfield, Cal., and Miss Clara Schaaf, of Washington D. C.; two sons, Benjamin F. Jr., and Raymond C. Schaaf, of Upper Black Eddy, Pa., and eight grandchildren.
