Dr. Paul G. Kreider, 89, formerly of Springfield, died at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunrise Manor in Virden.
He was born Feb. 19, 1898, in Springfield, the son of Dr. George N. and Emma Pasfield Kreider. Preceding him in death were one brother, George, and two sisters, Mary and Emma Kreider.
Dr. Kreider was a graduate of Harvard School of Medicine.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Benjamin (Sally) Thomas of Springfield; several nieces and nephews.
Remains will be cremated.
Memorial services: Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
