Cynthia Snow was a daughter of Elias Snow (1780-1851) and Sarah Ayres (1783-1851) . She was wife to John Ayres, son of Moses and Rachel McFadden Ayres
The Ayres family established and founded the small community Ayers in Mississippi. They owned a huge plantation called Oak Lawn. This is where the children were born and raised. Some returned to the homestead as adults and raised their children there. One Grandaughter Lily A. Ayres, who was the daughter of Eli James P Ayres; often painted pictures depicting the old family plantation.
