Marion was a strong woman who spoke her mind. She was a thorough and adept genealogist who kept and preserved much family history her work was cited in various genealogy publications including the Sparks Quarterly. As a family history buff myself I owe her a lot. But it is hard to write about her because I only remember the real Marion from the perspective of a little boy who loved his grandmother. Her genealogy is a gift but her love as a grandmother was much more.
