Ole I. Evenson was Ole's oldest child with his third wife Anna Olson Boen. I don't have a lot of information on Ole I. He was born November 5, 1856 in Vernon Township, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. In the 1860 Federal Census for Vernon Township, Waukesha County, Wisconsin Ole is mistakenly listed as Henry. Several online family trees have Henry and Ole listed as two different people, but this is wrong. Ole never married. He was born and died on the Evenson homestead. He was baptized and confirmed in the old Muskego Church at Wind Lake. In 1880 he bought the farm on the south side of the Evenson homested. Ole's farm was located in Racine County as the boundary between the two farms is the county line. Ole's farm was located at the southwest corner of County Line Rd. and Halverson Rd. Ole lived the rest of his adult life on this farm and in the last few months of his life he returned to the homestead where his sister Merandy Halvorson cared for him until his death. He was a trustee at the Norway Ev. Lutheran Church for nine years. According to Ole's obituary he was a quiet man that liked farming and traveling. He made several trips through the west and attended the World's Fairs at Chicago, St. Louis and Seattle. Ole died March 15th, 1931 in Vernon Township, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. He is buried next to his parent, on the south side of the plot, in the Norway Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery at Wind Lake, Racine County, Wisconsin.
