From The Clay Center Dispatch, March 15, 1900 - - Oleda, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus McMillan, died Wednesday morning, March 7, at two o'clock. For nearly a year the little one struggled for an existence, but her little bark was too weak to stand the storm. She gave up the struggle and laid down to rest, leaving the heart sad and desolate. The funeral was held at the home, conducted by the writer Thursday at 11 o'clock, and she was laid to rest in the cemetery at Green. --M.L. Robey, Green, Kansas
