Mrs. Neva Dell Olene Smith, age 88, a resident of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Foreman, Arkansas, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in Hot Springs.
She was born January 7, 1928 in Foreman. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Pearlie Elvira Whisenhunt Friend; her husband, Orie Douglas "Doug" Smith; one son, Thomas Lloyd "Tommy" Smith; one daughter, Edith Nell "Penny" Rice and three brothers.
She is survived by two grandsons, Douglas Eddie Rice of Royal, Arkansas and Anthony Lloyd Smith of Marshall, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Laurie Ann Smith also of Marshall; three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Smith will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2016, in the Campground Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28th at the funeral home.
