Radford – Calvin Eugene Hamblin, 48, passed away Saturday night is a Radford hospital. He was a veteran of WW-II and operated Hamblin Texaco Station in Radford. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Martin of Vinton; Mrs. Genie Owens of Radford; one son, Ronald Lee Hamblin of Radford; one sister, Mrs. Darlene Argabright of Winston-Salem, NC; two brothers, Clarence Lloyd Hamblin US Navy, Norfolk; Robert Daniel Hamblin of Belsprings; also two grandchildren. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Tue at Belsprings United Methodist Church, the Rev. Ernest Chinault officiating. Interment in Highland Memory Gardens.
