Last rites for Fred R. Alford, age 68 years, were held last Wednesday evening at 3 o'clock at Zion Hill, … interment in Negreet cemetery under the direction of Dennis-Green funeral home.
Surviving are wife, [Cornelia] Elizabeth Alford, and eight children: two sons, Percy and Loyd of Many; six daughters, Mrs. O.L. Ammons, Mrs. Dell Tarpley, Mrs. Nettie Maxey, Mrs. Nell Maxey, Mrs Bertha Hippler and Mrs. Mettie Randolph, all of Many; one brother, L.C. of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lou Blackwell of Dess and Mrs. Bessie Kilbourn of Hemphill, Texas.
