From a B-17 Fortress shot down on a mission to Frankfrort and crashing near Tavaux on the 8th of February. The first man was paced with Mr. Chede from 3rd of March until the 3rd of April. He was then placed with Mr. Alavoine, in Bethancourt en Vaux from the 8th of April until the 3rd of July 1944. Lastly he was moved to the home of Mr. Robert Ray in Montescourt where he stayed until his self-determined departure without the permission of the chief. The second man came from Bouteille, guided by Mr. Nicolas of Quessy, and placed in the home of Mr. Alavoine in Bethancourt en Vaux up until the liberation.
