Dennis Gardner, 80, a native and resident of Elberta, died Sunday, April 26, 2009, at a local hospital.
He worked for Otis Elevator Company for over 30 years and retired in Elberta in 1989.
Survivors include wife, Edith Gardner of Elberta; daughters, Denise Mielke of Chicago, Barbara (Joe) Mullally of Elberta and Delores Keith of Foley; son, Carl Abraham of Chicago; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 28 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Elberta Public Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 4150 Carmichael Court, Montgomery, AL 365106-2871.
