Robert Henry Gleason, 76, of Case Knife Road, died Wednesday afternoon in Pulaski General Hospital. Born in Pulaski County on November 2l, 1896, he was the son of the late William Gleason and Sadie Hall Gleason. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Isabell Gleason; three stepsons, Arthur Pickerel of Pulaski, Oakley Andrews of Richmond, and Hensel Andrews of Pulaski; and one stepdaughter, Mrs. W.D. Rankin of Pulaski. Also surviving are two brothers, William Gleason of Greensboro, NC, and Troy Gleason of Pulaski; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Ayers of Winston-Salem, NC, Mrs. Davis of Dayton, OH, Mrs. Ruby Gaye of Lynchburg; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of step grandchildren. The body will be taken to the residence on Case Knife Road today after 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Bob White Boulevard Church of God with Rev. Paul Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Stickler's Funeral Home, Pulaski, is handling arrangements.
