She was born August 3, 1938 in Seymour, Missouri, the daughter of John and Molly (Cantrell) Olinger.
She is survived by one son, Ronald Gaylord; and four daughters, Nancy and Connie Gaylord and Jan and Daleine Wade.
Mrs. Gaylord willed her body to science.
A memorial gathering will be held May 9, 2009 at the Timmons Chapel, 409 E. Ford, Pittsburg, Kansas.
