Eva Beattie
Mrs. Eva BEATTIE, 85, 1030 Elm street, died at 4:30 a.m. today in the Miller nursing home following an illness of three years.
Born Aug. 22, 1878 in Fulton county, she was the daughter of James and Mary BAUMAN WARE. She was married April 12, 1893 in Rochester to Mark P. BEATTIE, who died in 1948. She had spent her entire life in Fulton county.
Mrs. Beattie was a member of the Marshtown Baptist church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Emma) SHEETZ, Akron; Mrs. Blanche DICE, Fulton; Mrs. Earl (Faye) MILLS, Mishawaka, and Mrs. Grace ALSPACH, Tucson, Ariz.; a son, Donald M. [BEATTIE], South Bend; eleven grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She was the last of twelve children.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Sheetz funeral home in Akron with the Rev. Claude FAWNS officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Thursday.
