Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie COSTELLO, 84, Metea, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Metea Baptist church with the Rev. Raymond SHELTON officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek cemetery.
Mrs. Costello died after a lingering illness Monday at 2:45 p.m. in Akron. The body will be taken from Sheetz funeral home at Akron to the home of a daughter, Mrs. William MANNING in Metea at 3 p.m. today and friends may call there until one hour before the funeral. The body will be taken then to the church to lie in state.
Born March 31, 1875, near Grass Creek, Mrs. Costello was the daughter of James and Mary BAUMAN WARE. She was married in 1893 to Levi BUNDY, who died in 1911. Her second marriage was to Edward POWNALL, who died in 1939. She married P. A. COSTELLO, who survives, in 1950.
Mrs. Costello was a member of the Metea Baptist church.
Surviving besides the husband, are two daughters, Mrs. William (Olive BUNDY) MANNING, Metea, and Mrs. Louis ("B" BUNDY) TOBISON, Harvard, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Gail (Genevieve POWNALL) DAVIS, Muncie, and Mrs. Winnie (COSTELLO) BRAATZ, Arvada, Colo; one stepson, Jerry COSTELLO, Fargo, N.D., one sister, Mrs. Eva BEATTIE, Rochester; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
