Hawke Cushing

Son of Hon Joseph Cushing and Lydia King, grandson of Joseph Cushing and Mary Pickels, George King and Deborah Briggs.

Husband of Abigail Clapp, the daughter of Nathaniel Clapp and Desire Bourne. They were married 4 Nov 1792 in the Second Church of Scituate, Scituate, Plymouth. Abigail died in 1810.

Secondly, Hawke was the husband of a distant cousin, Ruth Cushing, the daughter of Captain Josiah Cushing and Ruth Thomas. They were married 28 Sep 1769 in Scituate, Plymouth and had eight children:
