Elizabeth Hoyl (or Hoyle) Nesbit was the daughter of Adam Hoyl and his second wife Sarah Rhyne. She married John William Nesbit about 1839, and they lived near Alpharetta in what was Milton County, Georgia. Their children were William Hoyl Nesbit, Albert Clyde Nesbit, Charles Rhyne Nesbit, Colonna Oscar Nesbit, Ira F. Nesbit, Thomas Ralph Nesbit, Andrew Clarence Nesbit, Eli Hoyl Nesbit, and Ella Clyde Nesbit.
