Nita Rose Roth, 71, the daughter of Joseph and Hazel (Black) Bartcher, was born April 12, 1932, on a farm near Lebanon. She died Friday at her home in Edgar. She attended rural schools near Lebanon and graduated from Red Cloud High School. She worked at the Naval Ammunition Depot near Hastings. On April 13, 1955, she married Wayne "Buzz" Roth. They lived in Colorado Springs for 15 years until Buzz's retirement. Nita and Buzz then moved to Fairfield, in 1970 and to Edgar in 1993. She also worked for Leveage tools and had been employed at the Nelson Good Samaritan Center in Nelson, Neb. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Oct. 19, 1996; two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her son, Randy, Edgar; sisters, Bonnie Bartcher, Kansas City, Mo, and Delores Noller, Hebron; and five grandsons. Graveside services were held this Tuesday at the Edgar Cemetery. Pastor David King officiated. Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
