DAUGHERTY
Lenora Long was born to Lincoln and Susie Long on June 23, 1891, and departed this life on January 22, 1962, at the age of 70, at her home at 1328 West Armory in Chariton.
She spent her entire life in and around Chariton. On July 7, 1909, she was united in marriage to Raymond Daugherty, who preceded her in death in 1954. To this union three children were born, Clifford, Harold and Marjorie.
She was a kind and loving mother and grandmother and a wonderful friend and neighbor to all those who knew and loved her and will be greatly missed by all.
Those left to mourn her passing, besides her sons, Clifford and Harold of Chariton and her daughter, Marjorie Pearson of Knoxville, include seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Cleona Matthews of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Fannie Beadle of Whitetail, Mont.; Mrs. Cassie Harmegnies of Chariton and Mrs. Eva Long of Cicero, Ill.; and one brother, Lloyd Long of Chariton.
