LAURA ATKINSON
"The bodies of Mrs. Laura Atkinson and her infant son, arrived here Wednesday morning from Logan, N. M. where they passed away on Sunday afternoon.
Beside her husband, D. I. Atkinson, she leaves one sister, Miss Louise Doerle of Chicago to mourn her loss. Both were with her when the end came.
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church by Rev. George C. Todd and burial was in the family lot in the Kickapoo cemetery. The family have the sympathy of a host of friends."
