PULASKI - Hazel Marie Sutherland Andrews, age 73 of 4425 Thaxton Road, Pulaski passed away Friday morning, Aug. 26, 2005 at the Pulaski Community Hospital. Born April 24, 1932 in Guilford County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Verlin William Sutherland & Eva Stella Livesay Sutherland. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hensel Glenwood "Toby" Andrews; one son, Gerald G. Andrews; two sisters, Thelma Sutherland and Minnie Patterson; and two brothers, Arthur Sutherland and Lawrence Sutherland. Surviving are five sons & daughters-in-law, Toby E. & Teresa Sutherland, Dublin, Ted G. & Linda Sutherland, Pulaski, Dana D. & Mary Andrews, Pulaski, Michael W. & Lorrie Andrews, Parrott, Charles & Donna Andrews, Pulaski; two daughters & sons-in-law, Deana K. King & Lawrence Thomas, Pulaski; Ginger D. & Rod Anderson, Carroll County; 20 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one brother, V.W. Sutherland, Jr. & wife, Rosie, Winston-Salem, NC; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday 2 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Tom Underwood officiating. Interment will follow at Hufford Cemetery, Pulaski The family received friends Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling the arrangements for the family.
