MUNFORD - Silas B. Bomar, 86, retired farmer, died Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton in Covington. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Munford Funeral Home with burial in Helen Crigger Cemetery . Mr. Bomar, the widower of Lois McGraw Bomar, leaves four daughters, Virginia Futrell, Doris Ann Mathis, Ailene Whitesides and Linda Martin, all of Munford; four sons, Gerald Wayne Bomar and Terry Bomar, both of Munford, William S. Bomar of Millington and Bobby Bomar of Atoka; a brother, Douglas Bomar of Munford, 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 5/14/1992)
