Robert Eugene Barr was born on 23 July 1911 at Glasgow, Scotland. He was born to Robert and Mary Barr.
On 13 April 1923 Robert, with his parents and siblings, arrived in the United States at Seattle, Washington. They had traveled from Scotland to Regina, Canada, then to Seattle.
During his time in Washington, Robert met Albe Euna Larson in Tacoma, Washington. Then on 23 September 1931, he married her in the city he met her. They eventually divorced.
Then on 18 September 1943 Robert was inducted into the United States Army Air Corps, for service during World War II. He was discharged as a Corporal.
At the age of seventy five years, on 16 December 1986, Robert passed away. He was laid to rest in the Washington Veterans Home Cemetery.
