Mrs. Ida H. Ream, 88, of 37 Hazel St., died at 8:10 a.m. Oct. 1 at Conestoga View after a lingering illness. She was the widow of Charles A. Ream who died in 1937.
She was last employed by Lancaster Leaf Tobacco Co. She lived in Lancaster for the past 60 years, formerly living in Lititz.
Born in Akron, she was the daughter of the late Lewis [sic] and Lizzie Apple Haines.
She is survived by five children, Charles A. Ream, Lancaster; Arthur Ream, Columbia; Marguerite, wife of Clyde Morris, Lancaster; Mrs. Arlene Huss, Tiffion, Ohio, and Dorothy, wife of Clinton B. Shenk, Lancaster; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted from the Spacht Funeral Home this morning (Thursday) with Rev. John R. Fleming officiating. Interment in Machpelah Cemetery."
