Mrs. Effie Smith, 89, of Route 1, Harvest, AL, died Friday at her residence.
The funeral was Sunday at McConnell Funeral Home in Athens with James Golden and Jerrold Myers officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the East Highland Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Teters of Harvest and Naomi Malone of Athens; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
